The great Clowny
BOOM!!! the wall smashed open. "Ha ha ha ha ha, I am the great Clowny oh dammit I should stop saying my name" said the great Clowny. A few days ago the great Clowny was thinking about getting revenge about Johnny death 10 years ago. What happened to Johnny well it was a Halloween night at moonster park. Jeff was giving a speech at moonster park and Johnny came in and had orders to kill Jeff. So he took a gun and tried to shoot Jeff but missed so Jeff found a knife that he was gonna use to cut the cake but he threw it at Johnny and that was the end of Johnny.

What we think and know about decimals

Because in the first activity we did the fraction and decimal
Number line.
Raghav-I learnt that deci means tenth and how to easily convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals
Krish-decimals are just like fractions and percentages and i learned that because at the start we did the fraction and decimal Number line and i knew that percentages were related to them!!
Ved- I learnt how to convert decimals into percentages and fractions. I also learned that deci means tenth. Also percentage is out of 100.Planning Problem

Maths - Counting Cogs
Today and yesterday we did counting cogs in groups of 4. In my group was me, Imran, Declan and Arnav. My job was the questioner and includer. The Cogs we first did 5,6 and it worked so then we did 5,7 and it did not work so we tried 6,7 and then 7,8 and then 8,9. So we found a pattern that the second number is the number after the first number.

Camp Reflection
Curios:
Before I went to camp I was curios about the activities that we were going to do like the high and low ropes because I did not know what it is. Also I was wondering what the Hunua hunt was. Another thing that I was curios about was the cabins like which one I will be in who will be in the same cabin as me.
Connected:
I was connected to the high ropes because you needed to climb and it was similar to rock climbing and I have done rock climbing before. In the Hunua hunt I made a connection with football because you need walk a lot in the Hunua hunt and in football you need to run a lot.
Collaborative:
I collaborated in the high ropes because if we did not have the belay team we would have not been able to go that high. I also Collaborated with Zavier and Aditya when we were doing orienteering because if we were not together we would not have beat the record.
Capable:
I was Capable at abseiling because I could do it and it was my first time ever doing it. By doing abseiling I overcame my fear of heights. I was Capable at archery because I could hit the target and it was my first time doing it.

Olympian
I would like to represent NZ in football because it is my favourite sport and I love to play football at school. I have always wanted to become a Professional football player. Some stuff that would help me to achieve my goal would be to practice a lot by my self or with a friend.

The Beep Test
Today for P.E we did the Beep test. Which is a fitness test It was a new experience for me because I have never done it or even heard of it. I felt very exited because some of my friends had done it and they said it was very fun but hard. My score I got was 5.2 which I was happy with. By the end of cross country ( Which we are starting soon) I want to get 5.6 which is possible if I train hard. The top someone got was 8.4 which was Zavier. I was sprinting the first one because I thought it was gonna go much faster. But then

Life Jacket fun
Today we went swimming at Otara pools. This was the best lesson because we were using Life Jackets.
I needed to improve on pin diving because I fell straight in and water splashed in my face.
It was cool because I learned how to dive with a life jacket.
We had to do a duck dive but I could not do it because I had a life jacket on.

Footbal game 5 vs 6
Today the same teams that entered the tournament versed with was quite epic. I think I played better at the tournament but it was fun. I was quite exited because I started wondering which team is better. but when Zavier told me that the year 5 was vs year 6 I got exicted. The attack was better then the games at the tournament. We won 3-0 but the other team was good. The ending was the best because Mr dyer joined the other team but they still could not score.
Football tornament Reflection
On Tuesday 10th May OrmPS entered a football tournament. I played in defence we collaborated. The starting game was unlucky and we lost but the next we drawed then our confidence came up. The nest game we won 6-0 and we won the next 2. The thing I need to learn is how to defend corners. I mostly worked with Shivran and Christian but sometime with other people. When I was on the field I was nervous but soon I was not nervous. It was nice to have the learning coaches supporting us. I somtimes I went up to help because we needed more attack power. I had fun

My I Reflect for 4 of March
Today I had science club. My group which had Me, Leon, Justin L and Nehaal. We were called the chemist group. Our experiment was to find out if we put baking soda into food coloring what would happen. What we did first write what the baking soda and food coloring looked like, Smelt like and Feels like and the we lined 4 cups of food coloring and put baking soda all at the same time. What happened was it started bubbling and then over flowed into other cups. Under looked like a rainbow. Then we had one more cup full so we surounded it with the other cups and put baking soda in the full on. Underneath it was so colorfull and made layers.

Over the last few weeks, learners form Habitat 3 have been encouraged to work collaboratively to organise a Hui for both Habitat 1 and 3 to attend on Friday afternoon. This has been an opportunity for learners to connect with one another and discuss and organise different ideas that they may have for this time. This week Ved, Prisha, Shivran, Ayush, Alex, Jasonta, Mervlyn, Neha and Brooklyn, showed their capability by organising a slideshow, waiata, talent show, weather report and certificate presentation. Prisha and Shivran organised the slideshow that supported our two presenters, Ved and Ayush. Alex and Jasonta signed a detailed weather report. While, Brooklyn, Neha and Mervlyn presented certificates to those learners that were connected through play earlier in the week.
